Ian Tamblyn has included a selection of music from the track composed for my video Classic Solo Canoeing in a newly released CD called "Like the Way You're Tinkin", 2002.
For many years, Ian has included hammered dulcimer compositions in his concert repertoire and on his instrumental recordings. This set is dedicated to those who asked for more. Eleven of the thirteen pieces were written to illustrate the range of the instrument, while the two remaining pieces were written for guitar and plucked autoharp. All pieces were written by Ian Tamblyn except Farewell to Tarwaithie, a traditional Scots whaling song beautifully sung by Rebecca Campbell. |
