Paddle to the Sea by Bill Mason is a heart-warming odyssey of a hand-carved little canoeist that travels to the ocean via the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence. On Paddle's journey he encounters everything from crushing ice, a forest fire and curious wildlife to the many dangerous perils of the human kind and he free- falls Niagara Falls too!
