The PC Lake Canoe Tandem Intro Instructor Course ID# n/a are held at Meech Lake at P-12 (the boat launch) from in the summer months, 09:00 to 17:00 each day.
The purpose of the course is to provide a standard national certification of competence in the instruction and administration of Paddle Canada Lake Canoe clinics/courses. To be successful and obtain the Paddle Canada certification participants will have to meet all the regular requirements. One of the prerequisites is PC Lake Canoe intermediate tandem skills course accreditation. If you don't have this accreditation please email me and I'll assess your qualifications/experience.
In addition to the requirements practice teaching assignments will be sent to you to submit them prior to the start of the instructor course .

Day 1: core practice teaching instruction on subjects of theory, stroke and maneuvers and lesson assignment feedback.

Day 2 -4: continuation of day 1 teaching and discussions of peripheral subjects that are part of the Paddle Canada curriculum but may not be familiar to you (e.g. course administration, legal considerations) which are key items in the PC Instructor Resources along with the other teaching techniques and feedback.

Course fee: $425. per person no tax.
Paddle Canada Instructor membership fee, $99.99 plus HST paid before you can register for the course.
